Many MMOs on the market generally follow a pretty similar formula. By appealing to the public and taking all necessary elements that a top game should include, they seek to stand out among the numerous games. And the fact tells us that it is really a not bad strategy. EverQuest and World of Warcraft are two good examples.
But surprisingly, Darkfall is no exception.
Darkfall resembles EverQuest and World of Warcraft in that it features an open PvPvE model, player-controlled territoty, sieges, and guild/alliance wars, even though it happens in a fantasy setting.
