The homeland of the alfar is located to the south of Agon's main continent, with its neighboring races being the human in the east and the mirdain in the west. Rubaiyat the desert land lies to the southwest across the Ruby Sea. To the north at Agon's heartland, the Pall of Oncylus stands the threatening Pall of Oncylus, intending to swallow all.
The majority of Nagast is made up of protruding badlands fostering huge mushrooms and trees with black leaves. The rocks there are broken and mountains stand like spires. The soil of Nagast is spellbound and takes on a purple color, but offers nothing edible that grow in it.
Along the shores of a large subterranean lake named the Throat lies the capital of the alfar Shoal. Two rapid rivers from two neighboring caverns converge at the top of the Throat and therein form a cascade plummeting into the lake. Water running into the lake can not ever again flow away from the lake, which is believed to be connected to some unknown water under Agon. Many have been forced into the Throat to make a probe, but none ever returns.
