Resources can be gathered in a variety of ways. Mining is one among them. In Darkfall, there are two main resources that can be acquired by mining. One is Rock nodes and the other is Mental nodes. Rock nodes can produce stone which is used primarily for city building, and also yield gems that are primarily used in crafting. Two special examples for metal nodes are given, they are iron and sulfur respectively. Normal metal nodes can bear iron ore that can be smelted in iron ingots, or sulfur that is a reagent used in spell casting.
